2021 All American Sanda Championships

In July of 2021 we traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to compete in the All American Sanda Championship. Winter Mascola competed and got Gold in her weight class. Along with the competition we were allowed to visit Wing Lam Enterprises and explore their warehouse! Wing Lam Enterprises is a martial arts store specifically specializing in Wushu and Kungfu supplies. We were able to pickup a few small items that were able to fit in our carry-on bags and also place an order of all of the items we picked out in the warehouse to be sent back home to Bossier. While we were also in town Sifu Kenny Perez invited us to look at his new school , Dynamic Martial Arts. We truly enjoyed our time in Phoenix and we learned a lot about how we can better our school and our budding Sanda program.

3rd Pan-American Kung Fu Championships

This July our athletes have the honor of competing again for Team USA at the 3rd Pan-American Kung Fu Championships in San Jose, California. Our team members that attended were Brianna Pinkston, Winter Mascola, Josh Weinstein, Adrian Neumann and Zack Teppenpaw. There were participating teams from Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Bermuda and Chinese Martial art groups. 21 team in total competed, nearly 400 athletes, 25 Pan American international referees and dozens of national team officials, observers, national champions and representatives of many different traditional kung fu styles.
Over 2,500 people participated in this event to make it a huge success! The Belllaire Wushu Competition team was able to earn 4 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals. Thank you to all of our sponsors and family members for their constant support of our academy and our competition team!

Download your registration form and fill it out. Once finished either scan/take a photo of your registration form and send it to [email protected] or print it out and turn it into Bellaire Wushu Academy at 4330 Panther drive in Bossier City.

If you are only wanting to compete in The Pelican State Championship you can register up to the tournament date and the morning of the tournament.

7th World Kungfu Championship in Emeishan, China

Years of hardworking and dedication are finally paying off for three of our students! Zack, Josh and Cameron are representing not only BWA but The USA at The 7th World Kungfu Championships.

Competition has offically begun at the 7th World Kungfu Championships in Emeishan, China! Our students Cameron, Josh and Zack along with Sifu Randy Harper have been touring China for a few days. While our students aren't competing they are able to learn new skills or hone the ones they already have at seminars that the IWUF have organized for free.


Medal Count: 1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze.
